Description
Type I Fatimid lamp; globular body on a slightly concave foot with an incised ring inside; single, slightly raised rectangular shaped nozzle. Evidence of presumed tall neck with flaring rim. Turquoise-glazed inside and out; worn under base. Glazing is smooth and glossy. Thick and sloppy glazing visible under the nozzle. There are no clear signs of use. No inscriptions or evidence of previous labeling.
