Description

Type I Fatimid lamp; globular body on a slightly concave foot with an incised ring inside; single, rectangular shaped nozzle; single, small looped handle without a nib. Evidence of presumed tall neck with straight flaring sides. Turquoise-glazed inside and out; worn under base. Glazing is smooth and glossy. There are no clear signs of use. No inscriptions or evidence of previous labeling.
