              <text>&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;English&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The printer’s device of Nicolo Pezzana (162?-170?) recalls that of the Giunta printers where Pezzana carried out part of his apprenticeship in Venice and which he ended in 1657. Without an inscription or personalized device, this mark depicts a fleur-de-lys printed in red, ensuring that clients from his former shop would recognize him. This mark also serves to function as a sign of continuity between Pezzana and his masters. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;Français&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cette marque d’imprimeur de Nicolo Pezzana (162?-170?) reprend celle de l’imprimerie des Giunta oû il a fait une partie de son apprentissage à Venise, et qu’il a racheté en 1657. Sans inscription ni devise, cette marque comprenant une fleur de lys imprimée en rouge promettait à Pezzana d’être reconnu par les clients de l’imprimerie où il avait lui-même travaillé, instaurant ainsi une continuité avec le travail de ses maîtres.</text>
