Ce livre est intéressant il y a beaucoup d’érudition” (“There are two previous editions, one from Paris 1677 in octavo, estimated at 3 to 4 francs. The other is from Frankfurt 1737 in octavo.”) The annotation undoubtedly stems from a bibliophile or bookseller who had this book in their possession.
