(EN) : External anatomy: Dorsal view. Woodlice are very common in dark, damp places near homes. Adapted to air breathing using pseudo-tracheas, they nevertheless depend on soil moisture and a certain calcium content. Detritivores or saprophages, they feed on plant debris.
(FR) : Anatomie externe : Vue dorsale. Les Cloportes sont très communs dans les lieux sombres et humides aux voisinages des habitations. Adaptés à la respiration aérienne à l'aide de pseudo-trachées, ils dépendent toutefois de l'humidité du sol et d'une certaine teneur en calcium. Détritivores ou saprophages ils se nourrissent de débris végétaux.
