(EN) : Aphid mummies: They are the dead bodies of aphids that have been parasitized by tiny wasps (aphid parasitoids), which lay their eggs inside the aphid's body. The developing wasp larvae consume the aphid from the inside and the aphid then becomes a "mummy," which is a swollen, dark-colored, and papery-textured shell.

(FR) : Momies de pucerons : Ce sont les cadavres de pucerons parasités par de minuscules guêpes (parasitoïdes de pucerons), qui pondent leurs œufs à l'intérieur du corps du puceron. Les larves de guêpes en développement consomment le puceron de l'intérieur, qui se transforme alors en « momie », une coquille gonflée, foncée et à la texture de papier.
