(EN) : Brachiolaria: Second larval stage in the life cycle of many species, following the bipinnaria larva. It is characterized by its bilateral symmetry, an adhesive disk, and three brachiolar arms (one dorsal, two ventral), which are used locate a suitable substrate for settlement before metamorphosis into an adult.

(FR) : Brachiolaria : Deuxième stade larvaire du cycle de vie de nombreuses espèces, suivant la larve bipinnaria. Il se caractérise par sa symétrie bilatérale, un disque adhésif et trois bras brachiolaires (un dorsal, deux ventraux), qui servent à localiser un substrat propice à la fixation avant la métamorphose en adulte.
