(EN) : Structure of a cilia or flagellum: It consists of a circle of nine pairs of microtubules doublets arranged peripherally with a pair of singlet microtubules in the center. This arrangement is often referred to as the "9+2 microtubule pattern or 9+2 axoneme". Labels added in English (2nd image) and in French (3rd image).
