(EN) : Gustatory sensillum (or taste sensillum): Primary chemosensory organ for taste consisting of a small, hair-like structure located on various parts of the insect's body, including mouthparts, pharynxes, antennae, legs, and even wings. Each contain specialized receptor cells that detect tastants (chemical substances that trigger the sensation of taste).

(FR) : Sensille gustative (ou sensille du goût) : Organe chimiosensoriel primaire du goût, constitué d'une petite structure ressemblant à un poil située sur différentes parties du corps de l'insecte, notamment les pièces buccales, le pharynx, les antennes, les pattes et même les ailes. Chacune contient des cellules réceptrices spécialisées qui détectent les substances gustatives (substances chimiques qui déclenchent la sensation gustative).
