I. J'ai transmis la requête de M. BOYER à la **BANGUE D'ETATUU**. Maroc en lui demandant si elle envisageait de faire parvenir des fonds à l'intéressé. Celle-ci avant de prendre une décision a désiré savoir si l'opération serait autorisée par le ministère des Finances.

II. J'ai alors demandé au délégué à Alger du Département du Trésor des E.U. (1547) de me faire connaître la position de son Département à l'égard de M. BOYER. Il m'a été répondu confidentiellement que le Trésor des E.U. n'était pas disposé à laisser effectuer des transferts en faveur de M. BOYER au moyen de prélèvements sur les avoirs en dollars de l'office (marocain) des changes.

III. J'ai informé (1548) à cet égard la **BANGUE D'ETATUU**. Maroc qu'il ne me serait pas possible d'autoriser l'office (marocain) des changes à procéder à des versements en faveur de M. BOYER.

Je vous prie de communiquer à M. BOYER les indications contenues aux paragraphes I et III ci-dessus, à l'exclusion naturellement de celles contenues au paragraphe II.

À la suite de la rupture avec la Roumanie M. DELCAMPO a été invité par son Gouvernement à rentrer au Chili. Comme il possède de gros intérêts en Roumanie où il a longtemps résidé comme conseiller commercial, on suppose que M. DELCAMPO désirerait attendre en Algérie la libération de la France. J'ai recueilli sur lui des renseignements très favorables; quant à son secrétaire, M. BERISPEK, il est inconnu ici et ne paraît pas être Chilien.

La reconnaissance officielle du Comité est encore à l'étude, et le ministre des Affaires étrangères se trouve actuellement à Washington, de sorte que la question de l'envoi à Alger d'un représentant chilien ne se posera qu'ultérieurement.
