(2343) conformément aux dispositions de la loi du 11 mars 1941, le Président ROOSEVELT a rendu public hier son cinquième rapport au Congrès sur les opérations effectuées au titre de la loi prêt et bail.
Le Président y note tout d'abord que l'aide aux alliés des E.U. s'est chiffrée à $1,900,000,000 pour le premier trimestre de l'année. En quinze mois le montant des productions (attribuées) à ce titre a été de $4,497,000,000. 82% représente des fournitures de marchandises et d'armes, 18% des services. Les produits intéressant la défense nationale proprement dite, livraisons effectuées aux Britanniques ainsi qu'à 35 autres pays ... y compris les "Français libres", se chiffrent à $2,130,000,000.
