Le "Chicago Sun" déclare "Après un tel discours le maintien des relations diplomatiques avec Vichy est devenu une véritable farce". Ce journal fait appel au peuple français et en particulier aux marins de notre flotte afin qu'ils se révoltent contre le gouvernement mais il admet qu'en cas de rupture les E.U. ne pourraient reconnaître le mouvement gaulliste et son éditorial exprime l'espoir que les Français eux-mêmes sachent (reconnaître) celui qui pourrait devenir leur chef en dehors de Vichy et de DE GAULLE.

Le correspondant du ...... à Stockholm se fait l'écho des
inquiétudes manifestées par le Morgengoteborg Post concernant 5 conven-
tions seérêtes du traité anglo-russe du 26 mai. Il serait question des
exigences territoriales russes déjà connues auxquelles il y aurait lieu
d'ajouter l'établissement de bases et de garnisons dans le nord de la
(Suède) ainsi que dans le sud pour garantir un libre passage de la
(Baltique) à la mer du Nord (dont il est) mention pour la première fois.
(Comme) le fait remarquer M. PHILIPP SINHS dans le WASHINGTON NEWS,
l'article 3 de la partie 2 du traité de Londres donne aux Russes carte
blanche. Il stipule en effet que pendant la période d'armistice et en

contractantes "prendront toutes mesures en leur pouvoir pour rendre
impossible la répétition d'une agression et d'une violation de la paix
par l'Allemagne ou l'un des états associés avec elle dans l'acte

l'Atlantique n'est prévue que pour la période qui suivra l'organisation

La chaîne des journaux du NESS SYNDICATE avait recommandé jusqu'ici une concentration de l'effort américaine dans le Pacifique afin d'abattre le Japon, ennemi principal de l'Amérique. L'éditorial que publient ce matin les journaux de cette chaîne implique un (renversement) complet de cette politique. Ayant noté la situation si grave des anglais en Libye et des Russes en (Crimée), l'éditorial déclare que seul un second front peut maintenant sauver les alliés des S.U. :-
"Le moment d'agir est venu. Les Anglais ont (2440) 4 millions (et demi) d'hommes sous les armes dans leur île et à peu près un million et demi, soit cent divisions, pourraient être utilisés dès maintenant pour l'établissement d'une (tête de pont) sur la côte française. Les Anglais seraient extrêmement mécontents de la politique américaine en Australie et aux Indes et e stimeraient que le matériel actuellement sterilisé dans ces deux pays aurait été plus utile dans le proche Orient. Au moment même de l'arrivée de M. CHURCHIL on annonçait 101 des envois prochains de renfort d'avions en Chine.

Il semble que M. CHURCHILL ait obtenu pour le moment satisfaction a la (veille) de la chute de Tobruk si l'on en juge par le communiqué par ailleurs très encourageant de la (White House) File D-1934
