A United Press despatch (contains?) the following matter which must have been discussed at this afternoon's press conference. The deputy-minister must have indicated that the bombing of the French factories in the (Paris) suburbs by the British had been a legitimate War Measure against which no objection could be made. He must have declared that it seemed clear that the attack had been directed against factories making war material for Germany. He refused to comment on French suggestions according to which the bombing had put an end to the policy of the allies which was designed to (encourage?) the Vichy Government to cease all collaboration with Germany.
