La légation des E.U. ignore son lieu de destination, mais considère que ce batiment a da se rendre dans un port de chargement.
(1621) Je vous serais obligé d'effectuer auprès des services américains et d'accord avec (le ministre) portugais, une enquête pour savoir dans quel port de chargement s'est rendu le PRIMAIRE et a quelle date il est possible d'escompter qu'il appareillera a destination de Lisbonne.

Il semble bien résulter des derniers renseignements reçus de Lisbonne que le PRIMAIRE ne doit plus être considéré comme ayant été torpillé ou coulé, mais que sa trace a été perdue pendant plusieurs semaines. Il devrait être possible

Un de nos compatriotes récemment arrivé de Tahiti a annoncé à M. DE BELLEFON la libération de tous les Français loyalistes (emprisonnés) à AFIANEATU et dont la liste avait été télégraphiee au Département par M. DE BOISANGER en octobre dernier.

D'autre part les arrestations faites les 16 juin et 26 juillet dernier n'avaient (pas) été maintenues.

Ces mesures de (clémence) ont été prises par messieurs D'ARGENLIEU et ORSETTI dès leur arrivée dans notre possession du Pacifique où la situation économique serait redevenue presque normale.

M. MONTCHAMP, accompagné de son adjoint le capitaine ...OSTA, a (3098) traversé les S.U., en juillet dernier, rejoignant son poste de Directeur général de la Nouvelle Calédonie.

Le bruit de l'occupation des îles Wallis et Futuna (FunaFutet) par des marines débarqués du "TRIUMPHART" semble a confirmé par l'apparition, chez les marchands de (nouveautés) de San Francisco, de vignettes de ce procédé surchargées "FRANCE LIBRE".

La presse de ce matin donne la plus large place à l'annonce du bombardement des (triages) de Rouen par des avions américains. Les dépêches d'Angleterre présentent l'opération comme un succès indésoutable, mettant fin une fois pour toutes aux rumeurs suivant lesquelles les avions de bombardement américains seraient incapables de participer à des opérations sur le continent. Ces dépêches ne sont accompagnées d'aucun commentaire. Aucun journal à ma connaissance n'exprime le regret de voir les premières actions d'avions américains en Europe dirigées sur le sol de France.
