Il n'existe en Afrique du Nord comme plan utilisable pour des commanies de machines S.N.C.F. que des plans d'une machine C.F.E. pareille a des 141 Etat et (9205) P.C. dont l'effectif était de 350 en 1939, et des plans d'une (locomotive) des C.F.A. applioables a des (locomotives) Etat et (E.C.T.) dont l'effectif etait de 140 a la même date. Par contre, Afrique Nord pourra fournir les plans des wagons des types unifiés récemment. Prí̂re me faire connaitre ceux de ces (9206) plans qui seraient a adresser.

Le sabotage des (locomotives) parait particulièrement a craindre pour les cylindres et les (cendriers) de foyer. C'est le type de sabotage qu'ont employé les allemands en Corse.

Le matériel a commander comprendrait donc surtout des pièces de cylindre, (9207) des tubes a funés, et rechanges de foyer.

En ce qui concerne le matériel de rail, faute de pouvoir commander des traverses, il serait en tout cas utile de commander des rails standard 1926 et des tire-fond, dont je pense il existe des spécifications aux E.C.

I. LINDLEY déclare considérations militaires doivent venir en premier lieu. Il ajoute que le Comité pense d'abord en termes de libération de la France, tandis que le but principal des Alliés est (9374) la défaite de l'Allemagne. Vous répéterez encore que les considérations militaires (veul)ent d'abord que l'ordre règne en France. Cet ordre ne pourra exister que si les Français connaissent à l'avance l'autorité qu'ils de (vraient) suivre. Et l'autorité, comme l'a dit le général DE GAULLE, doit procéder du pouvoir central (9375) responsable. Sans cette connaissance des mouvements locaux, sans liens, sans préparation, ... risquent de se produire. Nous ne pourrons profiter qu'aux factions et rendre plus difficile la tâche des Alliés.

II. L'intérêt des opérations militaires (exige) qu'il n'y ait pas de malentendu entre les (9376) Français et les Alliés, et que les Français soient sans avec ces derniers. Toutes les informations qui viennent directement de la France montrent (popularité) général DE GAULLE, contraire à ce qu'a dit LINDLEY. Et plusieurs passagers GRIPSBOLM (l'ont) (confirme).

III. En admettant même qu'il y ait (9377) groupe favorable à résistance mais non à général DE GAULLE et Comité, a côté de grands majorités gaullistes, vouloir favoriser une petite minorité en même temps que la majorité, en indisposant cette dernière, s'est (affaiblir) la résistance française. En fait, la position exposée par LINDLEY qui n'est, même aux E.U., partagée que par un très petit nombre de gens, est basée sur une hostilité à l'égard du général DE GAULLE et Comité.

IV. Les réticences (9378) de la part des Alliés à l'égard général DE GAULLE et Comité ne feraient que ... de la méfiance à l'égard des Alliés. Elle ne diminueraient en rien la position du général DE GAULLE et du Comité en France. Ce sont les Français qui finiront toujours par choisir leur gouvernement, même leur gouvernement provisoire, avant la consultation populaire qui élira assemblée destinée à préparer nouvelle constitution française.
