N'ayant pas reçu de réponse au télégramme no 272 que, par l'intermédiaire de notre légation au Caire, j'avais adressé au Général DE GAULLE pendant son voyage en Russie, j'ai pris sur moi de féliciter de la part du Gouvernement et de son Président, le Premier Ministre canadien à l'occasion de son soixante-dixième anniversaire. J'ai repris les termes du projet de message que j'avais soumis au Général.
M. MACKENZIN KING vient de me faire parvenir sa réponse dont télégramme en clair no 1931 communique le texte au Département. Je vous serais reconnaissant de vouloir bien le transmettre au Président du Gouvernement Provisoire.
