L'opinion brésilienne, qui s'est montrée jusqu'ici assez réservée à l'égard de certaines (décisions) de la justice française - dans le cas FUCHEU par exemple - fait preuve encore) de compréhension en ce qui concerne la condamnation de l'écrivain HENRI BERAND.

Dans un éditorial le journal "O Globo" écrit notamment: "Le cas de Gringoire révèle le danger qu'une certaine presse, nationaliste en apparence, mais évidemment terriblement réactionnaire et défaitiste fait courir aux nations démocratiques. Le journal conclut: "BERAUD doit passer dans l'histoire" (29 missing).
