H. RENE MAYER qui est a New York me prie de faire savoir au Général DE GAULLE qu'il prend toutes dispositions pour se rendre immédiatement à son appel. Je vous signale que pour assurer son transport immédiat en priorite I, il serait indispensable que vous fissles au plus tôt une démarche auprès de SHAEF pour obtention d'une "theatre clearance number". Ce chiffre de priorité devra être télégraphie (399) par SHAEF au War Department et vous voudrez bien par ailleurs me le confirmer.

MAYER désire rentrer avse M. ANDUZE-FARIS et M. LAGARDELLE. C'est donc trois priorités no 1 qu'il convient demander à SHAEF. Si cette démarche n'est pas faite, des retards sont à prévoir en raison suppresslon momentanée de tous quotas priorite avion à la disposition de Washington.
