Ce matin Ambassador américain m'a averti que la marine américaine ne permettrait aucun débarquement à Clipperton et avait pris le risque de refuser tout permis de sortie. Il, que la (28) question devait être prise en main par notre Ambassade à Washington, je télégraphie à M. ROBERT demandant faire démarche urgente car avons eu frais considérables: approvisionnement, séjour huit personnes à Acapulco, location du bateau à 100 par jour, et ... que deux militaires français en mission officielle ne puissent débarquer sur la française, occupée par Alliés sans accord préalable. J'ai signalé à notre Ambassadeur importance de Clipperton comme escale aérienne.
