PECHKOFF analyses the good work done by M. PIGNOL, who is in charge of the Information service at the Embassy. He has organized and expanded this section to a remarkable degree since the departure of M. FISCHBACHER. Relations have improved not only with the Chinese, but also with the Russians, Americans and British. PECHKOFF considers it quite superfluous to send out a new director of Information, but thinks that M. PIGNOL should have the help of a competent journalist.
