Le grand libéral républicain italien RANDOLPHO PACCIANEI est autorisé par les autorités anglo-américaines à se rendre par avion en Afrique du Nord. Son désir est de coordonner action des guérillas du nord de l'Italie. Anti-fasciste de la première heure, PACCIANEI commandait pendant guerre civile espagnole une brigade loyaliate. Des libéraux italiens (3258) comme SALVENINI et BORGHESE, le considèrent comme un des chefs de l'Italie de demain. Très francophile et approuvant ardement la politique de notre gouvernement provisoire, il m'a demandé de vous prévenir qu'il se mettrait en rapport avec vous dès sa venue à Alger. Je souhaiterais vivement que vous puissiez le recevoir.
