SAINT-DIDIER points out that Lieut. BARTHRIGHT was never under the jurisdiction of the Military Mission. As far as the French authorities are concerned, he is enrolled in the FPL, while the American authorities, especially the State Department, remember him for earlier incidents and his renunciation of his American nationality.
