M. STETTINIUS a annoncé hier à sa conférence de presse que le Gouvernement italien s'est adressé aux E.U. pour obtenir le bénéfice du Lend-Lease. M. STETTINIUS a ajouté que la demande de M. BARONI (BORONIY) était actuellement à l'étude. Ausun journal ne reproduit ce matin cette information. Plusieurs commentateurs de radio y ont fait allusion hier soir en laisant entendre que la demande italienne serait sans doute l'objet d'une décision favorable qui renforcerait la position de l'Italie "au sein des Nations Unies."
