M. PEDRO LEAG VELLOSO, Secrétaire général du Ministère des Affaires étrangères depuis 1942, vient d'être chargé de l'Intérimaire de ce département par suite de la démission de M. OSVALDO ARANHA.

C'est un diplomate de carrière. Il est prudent, réservé, mesuré. Il a servi à Paris deux fois au cours de sa carrière (498) (de 1916 à 1918 et de 1923 à 1926), est marié (avec une) Française et manifeste (des) sentiments très francophiles. Son dernier poste à l'(étranger) fut celui d'Ambassadeur auprès (du Saint-Siège). Il laisse entendre qu'il aurait (remainder unreadable) x-Repeated as 508.
