J'ai pris connaissance avec le plus grand intérêt de votre lettre 22 du 25 août relative à l'Indochine.

Vos vues à ce sujet rencontrent exactement celles du Département, et je me propose de les défendre auprès de M. PLEYER dès que je pourrai (27461) gagner Paris.

En ce qui concerne la désignation d'agents spécialisés d'Extrême-Orient dans les capitales alliées, je vous signale que M. FRANCPORT est déjà installé dans ses fonctions à Londres et M. NEGRE à Moscou.

D'autre part, M. BAEYERS a été désigné pour Washington et rejoindra son poste aussitôt qu'il aura été remplacé à Tunis.
