Au cours d'une conversation que j'ai eue avec lui, M. GIL PORTOUL, Directeur général du Ministère des Affaires étrangères, m'a laissé entendre que les relations diplomatiques entre la Venezuela et la France allaient très prochainement être reprises d'une façon normale.

La désignation d'un Ministre du Venezuela à Paris (328) est à l'étude. Les candidats sont évidemment nombreux. Je crois savoir que le Président de la République a pensé à son Ministre des Affaires étrangères lui-même, M. PARRA-FEREZ qui, si la nouvelle se confirmait, serait certainement un parfait représentant du Venezuela auprès du Gouvernement français.
