A la suite d'une démarche instante de
l'ambassadeur du Japon il a été procédé à un nouvel examen de la question des versements à effectuer pour le premier semestre de l'année 1944 au titre de l'entretien de l'armée japonaise en Indo-Chine.

Après en avoir conféré avec les ministres aux Finances, à la Marine et aux Colonies j'ai décidé de proposer au Gouvernement japonais le paiement pour ce premier semestre d'une somme de 123.000 .000 de plastres compte tenu des 59.000 .000 déjà

- D'autre part il a été convenu entre les services compétents que des conversations s'engageraient dans le plus bref délai pour examiner en considérant tous les éléments techniques la possibilité ... ... ... effort.
