J'ai été reçu de matin par M. SHIGEMITSU a
qui j'ai remis la copie de ma lettre de créance.
... tout en demeurant dans les généralités qui
conviennent en pareilles circonstances m'a dit avec quelle
émotion il suivait les événements de France. J'ai saisi cette
occasion pour (dire a) M. SHIGEMITSU que l'amiral DECOUX et
moi étions également soucieux (télégramme de Dalat a ...
... ... ... Fékin 504) de maintenir entre les autorités
françaises et japonaises la politique d'entente qui s'est
établie en Extreme-0rient. Le Ministre des affaires étrangères
(399) m'a répondu en ... ... que les questions les plus
délicates trouvaient toujours une solution satisfaisante quand
elles étaient traitées avec l'élévation d'esprit voulue et
que je pouvais compter sur son bon vouloir et sur la traditionnelle
amitié de son pays pour la France.
