**ANGI - VICHY (COLONIES)**
**FST N.S. 753,818**
**#4063,4064**
*(2 Parts complete)*
DECOUX urges BLEMAUT to approve the dismissal of CHARTON as Superintendent of Public Instruction in Indo-China. He squarely opposes DECOUX whenever the latter's orders do not please him. DECOUX recommends as his successor Professor TABOUIET, suitably qualified in history, who has been head of the education work in Cosmin China since 1930. TABOUIET is willing and declares his loyalty to the Marshal. He will be as acceptable to the teaching personnel as CHARTON has been, and under his administration DECOUX hopes for greater, "order, clarity, and discipline" in their ranks.
a SGA #131937.
**VICHY - MANGI (NICH COMMISSIONER)**
**FST N.S. 763**
**#3618.**
BLEMAUT consents to the replacement of CHARTON by TABOUIET first as Acting Superintendent, and later to be confirmed in the position. He stipulates that CHARTON should be given a definite administrative task in order to avoid any undue excitement about his being ousted.
a SGA #131937.
