No. 2
For Mr. MARGERIE.
I transmitted your telegram to Mr. JARDIN, who sends you the following message:
"I have not had direct contact with the Provisional Government, but a few days after my last communication, I learned from the Political Department that Mr. VENGE had received from Algiers authority to direct the mission in Switzerland. I got in touch with him immediately and I -- him powers and regular administrative formalities" on August 31.
Everything went off under conditions highly appreciated by the federal authorities; all was done in the most correct manner, and with the interest of France the only concern. --30-- asked me to express to JERRY and the children our true regards."
