Selon les journaux de ce matin, le secrétaire d'Etat, M. CORDELL HULL a exprimé au cours de sa conférence de presse de cet après-midi son désir de voir intervenir entre le Général GIRARD et le Général DE GARLLE un accord qui unisse pleinement leurs forces pour la lutte contre les (pays) de l'Axe.

À la veille de la conférence annoncée entre les deux chefs, ajoute l'ASSOCIATED PRESS, M. CORDELL HULL a souligné avec force aux journalistes qu'ils espéreraient voir (1175) se réaliser l'union la plus complète possible entre tous les Français dans le combat contre l'(hitlér)isme. Il n'est pas sans intérêt de noter que les déclarations de M. CORDELL HULL visent exclusivement le caractère militaire de l'union envisagée.
