Le taux de change de chancellerie appliqué sans changement depuis le 11 août 1941 est de 0,46 cruzeiroe pour un franc. Il a été fixé en tenant compte du cours vendeur du dollar pratique alors par la BANGUE DE FRANCE soit 43 francs pour un dollar et du cours auquel avaient été négociés les chèques en dollars reçus en août 1941 du payeurs-généraux de New York soit 20 milreis 830 pour un dollar.

Les derniers cours cotés pour le (167) chèque par la Chambre Syndicale officielle sous la rubrique "marché libre spécie" est de 79 cruzeiros 59 pour un livre sterling et de 20,30 pour un dollar.

LA BANGUE DU BRESIL a acheté les deux chèques de $\$ 100.000$ chacun envoyés en avril et en août dernier à M. DUMAIRE par le payeur-général de New York au taux net (sans frais) de 20 cruzeiros pour un dollar.
