Je vous communique ci-après, pour votre information, un télégramme de notre ministre à Montevideo:

Lors de ma visite à l'ambassadeur du Chili, celui-ci m'a fait connaître que son Gouvernement venait de lui demander le texte du décret du 9 juin par lequel l'Uruguay avait reconnu le Comité de la Libération et que d'ailleurs lors de (31) son passage à Montevideo, M. FERNANDEZ Y FERNANDEZ avait longuement parlé avec M. SERRATO de la reconnaissance accordée par l'Uruguay au Comité de la Libération.

Si une reconnaissance du Comité (par le) Gouvernement ... venait à se produire du côté du Chili, l'Uruguay en aurait été sans nul doute l'initiateur.
