Le Gouvernement américain vient d'informer le Gouvernement belge qu'il ne pouvait donner son adhésion a l'accord conclu entre ce Gouvernement et le Gouvernement anglais au sujet de l'administration des territoires libres.

En m'informant de l'attitude ainsi prise par le Gouvernement américain, M. DE BENETVER, ministre belge de l'Intérieur, a ajouté que la même communication avait été faite par le Département d'Etat aux Gouvernements néerlandais et norvégien.

Les trois Gouverrlements intéressés sont très mécontents. Alors qu'ils croyaient régler une question aussi importante, ils se volent obligés de reprendre a Washington toute la négociation. Le Gouvernement britannique est luimême fort contrarié.
