Dans le New York Herald Tribune M. FLEISHER écrit ce matin que "les Russes ont demandé aux E.U. une déclaration de guerre contre la Finlande. Les Russes ont fait valoir que si la Finlande était traitée en ennemi par les E.U., ceux-ci pourraient plus promptement intervenir militairement dans le nord de la Russie pour maintenir les relations entre Mourmansk et (Moscou).

A sa conférence de presse d'hier M. CORDELL HULL a refusé de commenter le voyage en Fynlande du chanceller HITLER et a indiqué que les relations entre les E.U. et la Finlande restent inchangées pour le moment.

Commentant (2219) la question finlandaise dans la presse Scripps-Howard, M. SINNS écrit hier soir:- " Les E.U. n'ont pas eu au cours de l'hiver à se plaindre des Finlandais qui sont resté à peu près ... sur leur ... . Une déclaration de guerre n'est donc pas probable et si le
