Je serais reconnaissant à V.E. de bien vouloir faire profiter M. LORAND qui a déjà pris son service ici du traitement de 200 dollars demandé par mon télégramme $246^{x}$.

Bien que les commis auxiliaires n'aient en principe pas droit à des frais de voyage, je me permets de prier le Département de faire une exception en faveur d'un agent très méritoire et loyal auquel sa situation ... rend impossible de les assumer lui-meme: soit 31 dollars de frais de voyage pour lui, sa femme, ses 4 enfants et 40 dollars pour le transport de son mobilier. (Je vous) envoie des pièces justificatives.
