Seul, pour le moment, dans toute la presse
américaine, le journaliste ROOT fait référence ce matin dans le PHILADELPHIA RECORD a un discours prononcé a fort de France le 28 juin par l'amiral ROBERT. Les agences de presse américalnes n'ont pas reçu en effet de la censure I'autorisation de publier le texte de ae discours et la presse a continué dans l'ensemble la consigne donnée par le Département d'Etat de ne pas parler de la Wartinique.

Monsieur ROOT déclare que ceux des Américains qui (2639) avalent jusqu'ici considéré l'amiral ROBERT comme un ami des E.I. ont da etre bien dégua:- "Le discours, dit le journaliste, a été anti-américain du début à la fin. L'amiral a attaqué l'impérialisme américain et a déclaré qu'il est (heureux) d'avoir cette occasion de le faire en public. Il a reproché de plus aux 2.2. de conduire à l'ile un blouse de la fale contraire t toutes les traditions d'humanité.
