Les Minist8ros de la Guerre et de la Marine ont fait lire hier aux rapporteurs dans les unités de l'armée et de la flotte américaine un ordre da jour communiquant que "les forces armées américaines combattraient aux eotés des chinois pour expulser l'agresseur et libérer la totalité du territoire chinois." C'est la première fois, fait-on observer ici, qu'un ordre du jour, ayant un tel caractere politique a été ainsi lu aux troupes américaines depuis l'(6poque) de Washington.
(2644) Le correspondant du NEN YORK HERALD TRIBUNE note a cette occasion: "Ce...n'a pas eu seulement pour but d'exprimer l'admiration américaine pour la résistance chinoise, mais aussi d'... les Chinois qui, a en juger par la déclaration faite hier par le général chinois actuellement aux E.U., disent que leur pays est a la veille de l'(6puisement) et risque de ne pas pouvoir continuer longtemps la lutte".
