Une nouvelle dépêche de l'agence U.P. de Vichy mentionne a nouveau les conversations de V.E. avec M. TUCK concernant la question de la flotte française d'Alexandrie et indique qu'une note a été remise par le Gouvernement franfais au Chargé d'Affaires américain rejetant les propositions américaines. La presse, obéissant évidemment à une consigne, me donne aucun ... a cette dépêche et garde le plus profond silence sur les négociations en cours. A sa conférence de presse hier M. HULL a répété qu'il n'y avait aucun nouveau développement dans cette affaire. Il a ajouté que la situation militaire en agypte avait pris un tour meilleur, il pense pour l'instant plus aux ... de la ... qu'aux conséquences d'une éventuelle ... britannique.
