A Ottawa. Messe, réunion des Français
à la légation ... . Aucune manifestation de la part des autorités ni du corps diplomatique, sauf des cartes des représentants du Chili et de (1')Argentine.

A Montréal. Placement d'une couronne au (monument) aux morts par toutes les sociétés françaises. Banquet de 300 Français et y compris les dissidents (désintéressé). Le Général LAFLECHE prenant comme motif souvenir et résistance. Les partisans de la dissidence avaient organisé un ... à part présidé par M. QUEDRUE.

A Winnipeg:- Messe.
La presse s'est attachée à donner au 14 juillet la signification d'une fête de la France combattant pour sa liberté et la liberté démocratique. Elle a opposé les manifestations gaullistes au deuil de la légation.
