Suivant des renseignements de bonne source nos conditions concernant la réquisition (a-1t)-usage du MEROFE seront acceptées.

Le commandant du navire a été approché par le Directeur Général des pétroliers mexicains en vue de signature, comme suite à la réquisition, d'un contrat d'affrètement coque-nu.

En raison des cours élevés dûs aux risques de guerre, les pétroliers mexicains ont renoncé à assurer leur navire.

Ils souhaiteraient en conséquence que le MEROFE continuit à être assuré dans la condition où il l'a été jusqu'a présent. Ils se contenteraient de prendre à leur charge le montant des primes.

En contre-partie le commandant FLOURIE serait conservé à bord (108) comme commandant - subrécargue, et (continued)
