Je rappelle à V.E. que M. PIERRE BEAUCHESNE est toujours détenu aux Barmudes en résidence forcée. Comme je vous l'ai indiqué le 20 mai dernier, les autorités britanniques déclarent n'avoir aucune objection à le voir continuer son voyage, mais, malgré des interventions pressantes de ma part auprès du Département d'Etat, je n'ai pas encore obtenu pour M. BEACHESNE un visa de transit à travers les E.U. pour lui permettre de rejoindre son nouveau poste au Mexique. Le Département d'Etat se refuse à donner toute explication à leur lenteur in(termin)able mise à l'octroi de ce visa. Enfin M. BEAUHESNE, qui a (déjà) écrit à la date du 11 juillet à notre Consul général à New-York, lui a indiqué qu'un crédit de 300 dollars avait bien été ouvert en sa faveur à la (2796) banque des Barmudes à Hamilton (votre t61. 2683 du 21 novembre 1941) mais il ne pourra disposer de cette somme qu'à son départ.
