Reprenent la suggestion contenue dans le télégramme que V.E. lui a adressé le 23 juillet dont j'ai reçu communication sous le no: 1507-9*, (notre ambassadeur &amp;) Mexico City souhaiterait vivement que le Commandant DE BOURGOING fût autorisé à se rendre au Mexique pour y régler la question du "MEROPH". De son côté l'attaché naval a rendu compte à l'Amirauté des dispositions qu'il a prises et demande des instructions à cet effet. J'apprécie la valeur du concours que le commandant DE BOURGOING apporte à M.CLAUZEL pour régler cette affaire, mais avant qu'une décision ne soit prise, je crois devoir attirer l'attention de V.E. sur la ......
