L'amiral KING annonce aujourd'hui que les pertes a. méricaines jusqu'ici (.... ...) forces amúricaines ont réussi a prendre pied.

Les commentateurs de radio, ainsi que les critiques militaires se montrent très réservés dans leurs commentaires. ... a considérer que quel que soit le prix des opérations en cours, elles marquent la première manifestation offensive entreprise par les E.U. dans le Pacifique.
