La cérémonie d'inauguration du collège STANISLAS con-
tinue d'alimenter depuis une quinzaine une campagne de presse
assez vive entre les journaux canadiens anglais et français.
La façon dont les premiers ont écarté les faits en faisant
référence à des subventions envoyées au Canada avec l'assentiment
de l'Allemagne a mené le ministre des Affaires étrangères à
rappeler qu'il s'agit d'un prolèvement sur des fonds se trouvant
au Canada et à déclarer que ce genre de polémique était plus que
que fâcheux en temps de guerre.
La mauvaise foi est si manifeste que certains journaux
anglais publient des lettres de leurs lecteurs protestant contre
cette campagne dans laquelle d'autres n'en (entrent) pas moins en
(manifestant) l'étonnement.
