Les informations publiées par les agences au sujet des bombes incendiaires ont été fournies par les services officielles compétentes et seront en conséquence tenues pour exactes.

Ces services ont enregistré le chiffre de 186 bombes incendiaires tombées sur notre territoire du 8 au 18 octobre. Les bombes se présentent ... (tantôt) sous la forme de ... de 30 centilitres, contenant 2 liquides superposés, à blanc-jaunâtre, fermé d'une capsule et ... d'une lamelle de fer enserrant une boule de (phosphore) (2093) et (tantôt) sous la forme de boîtes en fer blanc cylindriques de 15 à 20 (centimètres) de diamètre sur 20 (centimètres) de haut, supportant des torches contenant un liquide inflammable.

Ils ont causé un certain nombre d'incendies. Les inscriptions déchiffrées sur les ballonnets en décèlent l'origine britannique.
