Dans son entretien ... le ministre des affaires étrangères qui m'a de nouveau manifesté ses sentiments de sympathie pour la France, m'a demandé si je savais où en étaient les négociations que la légation de Cuba à Vichy poursuivait avec les autorités françaises en vue d'utiliser en France même, dans l'intérêt de ses ressortissants internés, les fonds posséues avec nous par l'État ... (voir mon télégramme 250-261). M. MARTI(REZ)* souhaiterait pouvoir annoncer que cette question est en bonne voie afin de mettre en lumière les dispositions favorables et la largesse de vue du Gouvernement français.

Je serais reconnaissant de bien vouloir me faire savoir si une solution satisfaisante peut être dès maintenant envisagée.
