Since the British authorities have only decided to close our consulate at ----, the personnel will be sent in care of ---- America. About 35 have arrived either in Canada or the U. S. A. in two groups, the first of which will leave ---- first sailing ----, while the second ---- a fortnight (later?). In case our compatriots have arrived in Canada, I would beg of you to let me know immediately and to send them on to New York. Your office is also charged with their travelling expenses and the care of their arrangements for returning to France by ----.
