On peut résumer les opinions publiques exprimées par la (phrase?) suivante publiée dans un journal du matin: "Les relations avec France paraissent avoir subitement pris un tournant vers le pire."

M. NUZEN DU... observe "que le fait que M. CORDELL HULL ait envoyé de nouvelles instructions à l'Amiral LEAHY montre que les efforts accomplis à Washington par l'ammassadeur de France sont, au moins pour l'instant, presque épuisés" et le journaliste ... devoir ajouter "qu'à Vichy l'Amiral LEAHY peut être directement en rapport avec Maréchal PETAIN, qui n'est pas pro-nazi, alors que les
