Un des soucis principaux du président et de l'administration est d'éviter que l'effort de réarmement américain soit accompagné d'inflation et d'augmentation du coût de la vie. Deux faits ... hier soir donnent la preuve des difficultés que rencontre le président à cet égard.

1) Le Sénat a voté hier par 50 votes contre 25 un (bill?) interdisant aux services du ... de mettre en vente les produits ... stockés depuis trois ans à un prix inférieur "au prix de parité" établi sur la moyenne la plus élevée, celle-ci des années ... . . . L'affaire est d'autant plus significative que le président avait pris la peine d'adresser au Sénat une lettre lue en séance et dans laquelle il demande ... au congrès de s'abstenir de voter ce bill qui (...rait) les efforts de l'administration pour empêcher l'augmentation du coût de la vie.
